If you follow us on our social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram), you'll already know all about our 12 Stays of Christmas! In the 12 days following Christmas in 2023, we showcased 12 resorts and hotels at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, which we can book for you.
We know how content on social media is easily lost, so we decided to compile it into an article. This way, when you're planning your next Fairytale Holiday, you'll have it to refer back to.
And if anything catches your eye... please get in touch to discuss your Walt Disney World holiday quote. While we're happy to give you hints and tips to make the most of your magical holiday, what we love even more is being part of your booking process!

Our first stay is a fantastic and very colourful resort, Disney's Pop Century
Revisit the 20th century's iconic cultural moments, from yo-yos to rollerblades, at this nostalgic resort. From the trends and crazes of the 1950s to pop culture classics from the 1990s, this bright, fun-filled hotel pays tribute to the best of Western 20th century culture. A scaled-up football table, hippy-themed flower-power pool, and a giant Roger Rabbit are just a few sights you'll see!
But why should you stay here?
It’s one of two VALUE resorts on the Skyliner route, meaning not only do you have the buses to get to the parks, but you can travel through the sky to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.
If you have little ones, this is such a fun resort! Bright colours, a lovely pool, and it feels incredibly family (and budget) friendly!
The new refurbished rooms and NICE. It feels very clean and modern with loads of storage for luggage (and shopping!)

The second stay is showcasing the amazing Disney's Art of Animation.
Be surrounded in the artistry, enchantment and magic of Disney and Pixar movies. Stay at a Disney Resort hotel that invites you to explore the storybook landscapes seen in such classics as Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. From delightfully themed family suites to wondrously detailed courtyards, Disney’s Art of Animation “draws” you and your family in to become a part of some of your animated favorites.
And why do we feel this is a must-stay?
It's on the Disney Skyliner route, so you can easily travel through the sky to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.
It's perfect for families! With larger-than-life characters, family suites and one of the best pools on Disney property.
It's budget-friendly, which is great if you're travelling in a large group or with multiple generations. While being friendly on your purse, it doesn't skimp on amenities.

Our third resort is another Disney Value Resort, well, three value resorts under the same brand, the All Star Resorts - Movies, Music and Sports.
Imagine yourself sharing the spotlight with some of your favorite Disney friends, as you headline your very own all-star adventure. Stay at a Disney Resort hotel that salutes the legends of Disney films—from the dotted pups of 101 Dalmatians to the playful toys of Andy's Room— with whimsical, larger-than-life décor.
Let the rhythm move you at this Resort hotel that pays homage to some of the world’s most popular music genres, including country, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll, calypso and Broadway-style show tunes. Large-sized, music-inspired icons outside and subtle song-and dance surprises inside provide a harmonious setting for music lovers of all ages.
Get in the game at this Resort hotel that salutes the world of competitive sports, including baseball, basketball, football, surfing and tennis. Go the distance and don’t be afraid to celebrate your inner fan amid sporty décor starring some of your favorite Disney characters.
But why should you pick an All-Star Resort for your Walt Disney World stay?
If you're looking to experience Disney without breaking the bank, these are a solid choice.
Each resort has bold, larger-than-life Disney theming that’s super fun and immersive—think giant characters, musical instruments, or sports gear decorating the grounds. It’s especially awesome for kids (and Instagram photos!)
You'll have access to the Minnie Van service (via Lyft) and complimentary buses to all Disney parks, water parks, and Disney Springs — no need to rent a car or deal with parking fees.
Staying at any Walt Disney World resort while on holiday is a magical experience, be it a Value, Moderate or a Deluxe, so don't let the Value tag put you off booking, you're going to have the BEST time.

Our fourth recommendation is again for Walt Disney World and it's Disney's Port Orlean's French Quarter.
Revel in the romance and pageantry of New Orleans’s historic French Quarter at this Moderate Resort hotel. Discover cobblestone streets, gas lamps, wrought-iron balconies and fragrant magnolia blossoms, along with colorful Mardi Gras characters and the sounds of jazz. Then stroll along the lushly landscaped Sassagoula River to Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, where the bayou beckons, as do Cajun and Creole specialties.
And here are just a few of the reasons why you should stay here.
It’s smaller and quieter than many other resorts, which means fewer crowds and more peaceful walks. And the resort is beautiful!
This is the only place at Disney World where you can get fresh Mickey-shaped beignets, and they are chef’s kiss.
You’re just a short bus ride from all the parks, and even better — there's a scenic boat ride that takes you directly to Disney Springs.
In our opinion, this is a great moderate resort at Walt Disney World that is perfect for first-time visitors due to its size!

Our tenth resort recommendation is for Walt Disney World and it's Port Orleans: Riverside.
Enjoy old-fashioned Southern hospitality in this cosy resort, inspired by the rural beauty of the Louisiana Bayou. This is the place to be for good old Southern hospitality and the pleasures of the great outdoors. Ranging along the banks of the Sassagoula River, you'll find plenty of welcoming places to swim, fish, get active or just relax and enjoy the easygoing pace of life on the bayou. Close to Disney Springs.
This is an incredibly popular resort, especially for adult-only Disney holidays. And here is why!
A wonderful laid-back resort, perfect for families but with a more grown-up vibe appealing to couples and adults.
Offers both a sit-down restaurant and a food court, as well as a poolside bar.
It’s a short walk to Port Orleans French Quarter where you can get your hand on Mickey Shaped Beignets. There is also a boat service to Disney Springs.
With its newly furnished rooms, Port Orlean’s Riverside is one of our favourite Moderate resorts at Walt Disney World. A must-stay if you’re looking for a resort to relax in after your busy day!

Our sixth resort inspiration is Disney's Coronado Springs, a moderate resort in Walt Disney World.
Get a taste of old Mexico at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Close to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, enjoy the Mayan-themed pool with a waterslide and pyramid, a choice of outdoor sports and a huge playground.
Some fantastic restaurants and bars, which are great for chilling out in after a long day at the park.
Boasts the largest jacuzzi on property, definitely great if you want to soak your legs after all those steps!
Newly renovated rooms, loads of space and storage, and very modern. Popular with families due to the spacious design and the dual sinks, making it easy to get ready for the day.
Coronado Springs is a resort that has something for every travel party, old and young. Loads to keep the kids amused, great places to eat and drink, and a very relaxing environment if you like to take your Disney trips at a slower pace!
Get in touch if you'd like to hear about how this resort could work for you.

Our seventh resort inspiration is the deluxe villa resort, Disney's Old Key West.
Experience the romance of the Florida Keys at this tranquil community of Conch Flats—a sprawling island hamlet with shimmering waterways, swaying palm trees and manicured golf-course fairways. Delight in sun-soaked pools, casual dining and such amenities as fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes.
Here are just a few reasons why you should look at staying at this resort
It has some of the largest rooms on Disney property, especially if you book a 1-bedroom or larger villa. We’re talking full kitchens, laundry machines, living rooms, and big balconies.
You can get boat transportation to Disney Springs, which is both scenic and convenient. Plus, the resort has a beautiful golf course, a large pool area with a waterslide, a fitness center, tennis courts, and a great sit-down restaurant.
Because it’s so spread out with lush landscaping, winding paths, and fewer crowds, Old Key West is known as one of the most peaceful resorts at Disney.
With some of the largest villas on property, a relaxed tropical vibe, it’s ideal for families, longer stays, or anyone wanting a quiet home base with that classic Florida charm.

Our next recommendation is a Deluxe resort and a client favourite, it's Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Enter a safari paradise at this African-inspired hotel, set in lush savannah-style grounds at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Ride a waterslide into a 11,000 square foot pool and see over 30 species of wildlife, from flamingos to zebras.
And here are just a few of the reasons why you should stay here.
Some of the best resort dining on property with Boma, Sanaa, and Jiko.
Feel like you’re staying in Africa and open your curtains to find animals just outside your window, what a dream!
This is a fantastic family-friendly resort with two amazing pool areas, a kids' club, and offers a range of room sizes to fit larger travel parties.
In our opinion, a great deluxe resort at Walt Disney World that caters to animal (and food!) lovers of all ages! If you love Animal Kingdom, you have to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Resort inspiration number nine is Disney's BoardWalk Resort.
Experience the charm and whimsy of turn-of-the-century Atlantic City at this waterfront Resort hotel. Make a splash at Luna Park Pool and delight in a massage at the state-of-the-art fitness center. Discover carnival games, unique dining and exciting nightlife on the Coney Island-style boardwalk. Strung like saltwater taffy along the shimmering Crescent Lake, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is located within walking distance to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
And here are a few reasons why you should stay here...
You can walk or take a boat to both EPCOT (via the International Gateway) and Hollywood Studios — no bus needed. It's one of the most convenient locations in all of Disney World.
There is a fun carnival-themed waterslide (designed like a wooden roller coaster) and a whimsical atmosphere that kids love.
You can catch EPCOT fireworks from the BoardWalk, enjoy a morning stroll with coffee, or just soak in the relaxing waterside atmosphere — it’s truly picturesque.
As a Deluxe Resort, it combines luxury, convenience, and unique amenities, making it a perfect choice for those who want both relaxation and excitement.

Our tenth resort recommendation is one of the most iconic resorts at Walt Disney World, The Grand Floridian.
Victorian elegance meets modern sophistication at this lavish Disney Resort hotel. Unwind outdoors, indulge in a luxurious massage and watch evening fireworks light up the sky over Cinderella Castle. Just one stop to Magic Kingdom park on the complimentary Resort Monorail, this timeless Victorian-style marvel evokes Palm Beach’s golden era.
This is an incredibly popular resort, especially for adult-only Disney holidays. And here is why!
It's a truly grand experience that feels special and refined, making it perfect for those seeking a more upscale stay.
Located on the Monorail line, the Grand Floridian offers easy and quick access to both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. You can also walk or take a boat to Magic Kingdom.
The resort features some exceptional dining options, including the Victorian Alberts, a AAA Five-Diamond restaurant. There are also casual spots like character dining at 1900 Park Fare, Grand Floridian Cafe and Gasparilla Island Grill.
The Grand Floridian is Disney's flagship resort, offering elegance and luxury with its Victorian-style architecture, crystal chandeliers, and beautiful gardens. If you are looking for a place for a truly special holiday, this is the place to stay!

A hotel needs no introduction if you're familiar with Walt Disney World; it's the Polynesian Resort.
Celebrate the spirit of the South Pacific at this oasis of tropical palms, lush vegetation and so much more. From moonlit nights immersed in the outdoor island ambience to the exotic tastes of our world-class restaurants, discover the signature tropical atmosphere that’s made Disney's Polynesian Village Resort a favorite Disney destination since 1971.
Here are just a few of the many reasons why you should stay here.
The Hawaiian-inspired theme, complete with beaches, palm trees, and traditional decor, gives you the feeling of being on a luxury vacation in the South Pacific. And you cannot discount the view of Magic Kingdom.
You can hop on the monorail for a quick ride to the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, or enjoy the convenience of a short boat ride across Seven Seas Lagoon. It’s all about effortless park access.
The Polynesian has recently undergone a refresh to its rooms, with a modernized, Moana-inspired design that still preserves the resort’s tropical and island themes. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
This hotel is a dream come true for many of our Fairytale Holidays clients! If you’d like to stay here too, get in touch today!

Our last stay recommendation is for the Yacht Club at Walt Disney World resort in Florida.
Refined and relaxed – this nautical hotel gives you a taste of the New England yacht club life. This elegant nautical getaway shares many facilities with its twin, Disney's Beach Club Resort. Kids will adore Stormalong Bay, a 3-acre water wonderland with life-size shipwreck and gently sloping beach. A short walk to Epcot & boat service to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This is a truly spectacular resort, perfect for a special trip to Walt Disney World as it offers so much!
Boasting possibly the best resort pool on the whole of Walt Disney World property, Stormalong Bay has an amazing slide, its own lazy river and two jacuzzis.
You know you’re at a deluxe with the beautiful nautical themed rooms, private balconies and if you’re lucky, a view of the EPCOT fireworks.
The dining options are fantastic, and as it’s right next door to Beach Club, you can use their dining too. Be sure to check out Beaches and Cream for the most amazing ice cream sundaes!
If you’re looking for a more upscale Disney resort for your Florida holiday, we cannot recommend this one enough. It sits on beautiful grounds and has access to Beach Club, Boardwalk as well as EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
